I have been looking around for a while for websites where you can apply jobs in Malawi. As you know, the days of applying a job using the Malawi Post Office as close to be over and most companies nowadays are using jobsites to hire employees. So I have shortlisted one of the important websites you can apply for jobs to increase your chances. I have sorted them based on availability of up to date jobs and also popularity.

  1. myjobo. Myjobo.com is the biggest job site in Malawi with over 40,000 subscribers and over 300 registered employers. There is a lot of job posts on the website which you can choose from. If there is a website you can't afford to ignore is myjobo.

  2. Careersmw. Careersmw seem be another good option. Though I am not sure about the stats but when you go to the website, you will find a lot of job posts and not to mention the website is ranked number 8 top website in Malawi by Alexa. So you can't go wrong with this website.

  3. Jobcentre. Am also not sure about the stats about Jobcentre as well but just a quick tour of website shows a good number of job postings.

  4. jobmalawi. Jobmalawi seems to have a lot of new job postings worthy taking a look.

  5. malawijob. Malawijob also has interesting new job offers.

The following are some job websites you need to keep an eye on. I did not find a lot of new job postings but hey, you never know where you can find an opportunity:

  • jobsearchmalawi.com
  • nyasajobs.com

That's it folks. I hope you find this list useful.

If a company has a website, go directly to their website too and check if they have job openings. A lot of people don't know that job postings can be found on the company website.

You need to search "company name vacancies". A link for a vacancies page will show up in the search results if the company has it.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know that some companies post vacancies on their website. I found tnm vacancies page and Reserve Bank Vacancies page, I will be keeping an eye on them. Thanks again.

Don't underestimate newspaper vacancies. Newspapers are still on of the most important places to find job vacancies.

Don't underestimate newspaper vacancies.

I didn't say that newspaper's vacancies should be ignored. Am sure anyone looking for a job knows that they must also look for job openings in newspapers.

While this is all important. Don't forget to boost your CV and make sure there are no errors. Also having a linkedin profile can do wonders as some recruiters look for potential candidates there. Make sure you got a profession photograph, years of experience and other necessary information to make yourself stand out.

my 0.2 cents.
